Description

This Sabre 36 combines classic lines with high performance cruising and quality Maine construction. Finishing touches include a varnished teak toe rail on deck and oiled teak interior with a teak and holly cabin sole.  Ideally setup for 2 couples or a family of up to 6.

Accommodations

The main cabin has 6’4” headroom, a double quarter berth and nav station to starboard and galley to port. Further forward is a settee with dining table that lowers to convert to a double berth, a single berth to starboard and a hanging locker.

The forward cabin has a v-berth which can be used as 2 separate berths or converted into a  double-berth with the filler cushion.   There are shelves and drawers for storage and a hanging locker.

 The head has two doors for privacy at night, one from the main cabin and one from the forward cabin.  The sink has pressurized hot and cold water  with a shower wand that also mounts as a fixed shower head.

We provide pillows and fleece blankets but we expect our guests to bring their own towels and linens. 

Galley

The U-shaped galley is equipped with a 2-burner CNG stove on gimbals with oven with broiler. It has a deep double sink with pressurized hot and cold hot water, an easily accessible ice-box, storage drawers, shelves and compartments.  A fold up counter provides extra space during meal preparation. There are pots, pans and utensils for cooking and dinnerware & cutlery for eight.

Sails & Rigging

The mast is aluminum and stepped to the keel. The main has full battens, lazy jacks, 2 reefing points, jiffy reefing setup, halyard lead to cockpit, with sheet and traveler forward of companionway and lead to cockpit. 135% jib on Harken roller reefing/furling headstay, 2-speed self tailing primary winches.  A cruising spinnaker with snuffer sleeve is available for qualified charters.
